In the dynamic landscape of modern business, companies across various sectors face the challenge of adapting to rapid technological changes and market demands. PivotPoint Consultants provide a comprehensive solution to the challenges faced by businesses in achieving operational efficiency and agility. Our services are designed to transform outdated project management practices into adaptive, streamlined processes that support rapid change and continuous improvement.
User Interviews for PivotPoint: Five participants were interviewed one-on-one and remotely through video/phone calls. Participants were chosen (ages 30-60) to evaluate their experience with project management workflows, their objectives in enhancing operational efficiency, and their experiences with or attitudes towards adopting Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Competitor analysis: Looked at three competitor’s products and strategies, identifying gaps, opportunities, patterns, and trends.
After conducting 5 interviews with individuals who are involved in organizational changes and Agile transformations, I gained some crucial insights into the current challenges and needs within this space. Participants highlighted a significant need for clearer communication, structured support, and expert guidance to navigate changes effectively. There was a universal agreement on the value of external expertise, particularly in Agile methodologies and project management, to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency.
After analyzing survey and interview insights, I used Affinity Mapping to uncover key patterns in customization, engagement, and accessibility.

From these personas, we created three different HMW (how might we) statements that corresponded to real-life problems that a target user is struggling with that would prompt them to use the application:

Walk Through of Services
This flow introduces users to PivotPoint's range of services, focusing on agile and scrum methodologies. It's designed to be informative and user-friendly, highlighting the value PivotPoint brings to the table.
Contact Consultant on Contact Page
A direct path for users to connect with an Agile consultant via the Contact page makes seeking personalized guidance hassle-free. This is crucial for those needing expert advice on transitioning to agile, streamlining the consultation process.
About Me Page
The 'About Me' page flow adds a personal touch, showcasing the mission, vision, and team behind PivotPoint. It's key for building trust, highlighting the expertise and dedication that sets PivotPoint apart.
Low-fidelity wireframes were important in mapping out the flows because they allowed me to focus on the core functionality without getting caught up in design details. This approach helped me rapidly iterate and validate the user journey Walk Through of Services,Contact Consultant on Contact Page, and accessing the About Me Page, ensuring PivotPoint Consultants is building a solid foundation that meets user needs.
This usability testing concentrated on the PivotPoint platform, specifically evaluating three crucial user flows: the Walk Through of Services, Contacting a Consultant through the Contact Page, and navigating the About Me Page. The purpose was to gauge the platform's user experience, focusing on its ease of navigation and the effectiveness of its interactions.
Reflecting on PivotPoint's journey, it's been a great experience to see our vision come to life: creating an agile project management tool that's both adaptive and intuitive. Designing essential user flows—such as the Walk Through of Services, Contacting a Consultant, and the About Me Page—has emphasized the importance of meeting our users' diverse needs, ensuring our platform's effectiveness and ease of use.
With valuable user feedback, we’re set to further refine PivotPoint, making each update more responsive to real-world challenges. The positive feedback from our users has been incredibly rewarding, reinforcing our commitment to this project and our passion for innovation in project management.
The journey has not only strengthened my confidence but also confirmed PivotPoint's impact on our users. Looking ahead, I'm eager to enhance PivotPoint, continuing to meet and exceed our users’ expectations.
